  Jacques Bermon Webster II (born April 30, 1991), better known by his stage name Travis Scott (formerly stylized as Travi$ Scott) is a popular American artist, rapper and songwriter as well as record producer. His stage name is a tribute to the name of his favorite uncle, paired with the first name of one of his idols, Kid Cudi (whose real name is Scott Mescudi).In 2012, Scott signed his first major label contract with Epic Records and a publishing agreement with Kanye West's GOOD Music. In April 2013, he signed joint-recording contracts with Epic and T.I. Scott also signed a record deal with Epic and T.I. Scott's first full length project, Owl Pharaoh (mixtape), was self-released in 2013. In 2013 Scott released his debut full-length mixtape Owl Pharaoh. The mixtape was later followed by Days Before Rodeo. Rodeo (2015) was the first studio album by the artist. The hit single "Antidote" was the main track. His second album entitled Birds in the Trap Sing McKnight (2016) was his first album to reach the top spot on the Billboard 200. Scott released his second album together with Quavo, Huncho Jack Huncho (2016). The album is his third studio album Astroworld. Scott also recorded his first Billboard Hot 100 #1 single, "Sicko Mode" which included Drake. Scott's Cactus Jack Records release the compilation album JackBoys in the second quarter of 2019. The album was a top contender for the Billboard 200. Following his hit single "Franchise" featuring Young Thug and M.I.A., Scott was in a position to release the album compilation JackBoys. Scott was the first artist to be ranked number one on the Hot 100 with three songs in less than one year.
